Check Out Highlights from Market Madness 2025!

We’re proud to share some fantastic photos from Market Madness at Fifth Third Arena on May 5th, 2025. We had a wonderful day with more than 1,000 budding young entrepreneurs from schools across Greater Cincinnati.

Market Madness is a favorite part of our Susan Sargen Student Enterprise Program (StEP). Students from schools across Greater Cincinnati travel to Fifth Third Arena to sell products made by their classroom businesses, and show off their marketing and sales strategies. They also get a chance to shop at the other schools’ booths, and take a tour of the beautiful UC campus.

A big thanks to Market Madness sponsor Sycamore Capital for supporting this favorite event, and to the army of volunteers who kept things running smoothly, and led tours of UC’s campus!

Market Madness 2024 Highlights

Market Madness 2024 was a rousing success, with more than 1,100 local students, their teachers, and parent chaperones descending on UC’s Fifth Third Arena for a day of entrepreneurship, collaboration, and fun!

Market Madness is the culmination of our Susan Sargen Student Enterprise Program (StEP). Students form classroom businesses, interviewing with our volunteers for leadership roles (CEO, CFO, Marketing Director and more). The kids then decide what products to create, how to mass-produce them, and how to market them. Then, on May 6th, a parade of school buses dropped the kids off outside Fifth Third Arena. We turned the floor of the arena into a marketplace, with kids setting up their sales booths and signs. They then took turns selling, buying, and touring campus.
