Ross High School team wins regional SAGE Business Competition

On Friday, April 30th six teams from two local high schools competed in Students for Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) for a chance to go to Nationals in Buffalo, NY.

High School Students Compete in Business Competition for a Chance at Nationals

Cincinnati, OH – On Friday, April 30, 2010, the University of Cincinnati’s Economics Center will host Ohio's 6th annual Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) competition. The competition will be held at the University of Cincinnati in the College of Business (Linder Hall Room 109). Students from two local high schools will present business plans from 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. to a panel of judges from the local business community.

Creating the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

The Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) business plan competition was held by the Economics Center at UC’s College of Business on May 1. Students’ business plans were evaluated on how well they integrated concepts such as global markets, environmental awareness, and civic participation into their entrepreneurial ideas.

SAGE allows students to create a business plan and share it with a panel of judges made up of business owners and entrepreneurs across Ohio.

Recruitment for the 2009 Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) competition for high school students began this month. The Economics Center coordinates the Ohio SAGE competition. Hopeful teams of young students are beginning new business ventures in their schools, assembling business advisory boards and gearing up for a chance at the state title in May 2009.

Mason High School Wins Ohio SAGE Competition

Teams of students from seven local high schools competed in the Ohio’s Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) business competition on Wednesday, May 7 at the Tangeman University Center of the University of Cincinnati. Mason High School won the Ohio title, and will represent the state at the national SAGE competition later this month. To capture the state title, all SAGE teams presented their business plans and ventures to a panel of judges from the local business community.

Ross HS places 3rd the National Business Plan Competition

Cincinnati, OH – The national Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) business competition for high school students culminated in Cincinnati on Friday, May 23.  Ross High School team has placed third in the overall standings.  Teams of high school students from over ten states competed on UC’s main campus for the national title by presenting their business plans to a group judges from across the nation.

Cincinnati hosts the National High School Business Plan Competition

Cincinnati, OH – The national Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) business competition for high school students culminates in Cincinnati tonight, Friday, May 23 at the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center (NURFC) at 8:15 p.m.  Teams of high school students from over ten states competed on UC’s main campus for the national title by presenting their business plans to a group judges from across the nation.

SAGE Business Competition Showcases Finest Young Entrepreneurs

Cincinnati, OH - Students for the Advancement of Global Entrepreneurship (SAGE) business competition culminates on Thursday, April 19 at the Activities Center of the Clermont College of the University of Cincinnati. Teams of students from several local high schools are competing for the Ohio title and an all expense paid trip to New York City for the SAGE USA national competition. On Thursday, April 19 students from Hughes, Ross, Fairfield, Princeton and Edgewood high school will present their business plans from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
