Program Dates
Today’s Learners, Tomorrow’s Leaders (TL2) 2011 Summer Program begins on Monday, June 11th and continues through Friday, June 29th.
On the first day of the program, students will meet on campus at Lindner Hall in the College of Business. There will be an orientation and welcome session for students and a tour of The University of Cincinnati campus.Following lunch the program will begin, diving right into the Economics 101 course with Professor Daniel T. Barkley, PH.D from The American University of Nigeria

Program Cost
There is no cost for the Today’s Learners; Tomorrow’s Leaders Summer Program TL2.
Students accepted into the program will receive University of Cincinnati tuition, all meals when the group is at tour locations, books, materials, field-trip fees, and activities for the program all valued at over $2,500 free of charge. A non refundable $50 application and processing fee will be required to secure your place in the program.
Admission Process and Criteria
Students wishing to apply for admission to the Today’s Learners; Tomorrow’s Leaders Summer Program (TL2) may do so with the on-line application. Upon application submission please include a $50 deposit which will be required to secure your place in the program.
Applications received by February 17, 2011 will receive priority consideration. Students should receive notification regarding acceptance within two weeks of submitting a complete set of application materials.
Students must have a minimum high school grade point average of 2.8, a letter of recommendation from the student's high school counselor or teacher is required. Please contact the Economics Center at (513) 556-8545 for more details.
Application Checklist
Submit:
- At least one letter of recommendation from a teacher or academic advisor who can attest to the students academic qualifications.
- One-page personal statement that outlines your leadership skills and defines your history of academic success. Please also state your goals after completing this program.
- Copy of your most recent high school transcript.
- Parent Release Form and $50 Application Fee
