Economic County Profile of Newaygo County, Michigan

The Newaygo County Economic Development Office (NCEDO) needed to communicate the unique character of Newaygo County within the State of Michigan, defining and differentiating its social, economic and physical assets. NCEDO plans to use this information both for external communications, as well as for informing internal planning and development.
To address this need, the Economics Center compiled a set of indicators to inform various audiences of interest, including the public, about the special characteristics of Newaygo County. These indicators characterize the population and economy of Newaygo County relative to the State of Michigan, the Nation and a set of comparison counties.
