Center Director, George Vredeveld receives an Honorary Doctorate at Varna Free University of Bulgaria on October 4, 2011.
Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, Sc.D., stated "In 1991, we set out to found the first-ever private university in Northeast Bulgaria, and we were so lucky that Professor Vredeveld was a higher education consultant in Bulgaria at that time, and that he agreed to help us develop our curricula", during the ceremony. "Later, he became the first international academic teaching at Varna Free University", she added.
