Economics Center Welcomes New Trustees

Kathy Hamm

Principled Wealth Advisors, LLC.

Kathy Hamm is a partner at Principled Wealth Advisors, LLC. She has provided financial planning to professionals, business owners, and executives for 23 years. She has specialized in counseling her clients in the wealth accumulation, wealth preservation, estate planning, and insurance areas.

Kathy also has more than 15 continuous years of experience serving as a trustee of various non-profit boards such as Cancer Family Care, The Carnegie Visual & Performing Arts Center, Cincinnati Arts Association, and at the University of Cincinnati. Five of those years were spent as a Board President of two of those organizations.

A Cincinnatian for most of her life and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Kathy currently lives in Mt. Adams. She is the owner of VogueVert.com, an eco-fashion e-tail business. And, she is an artist working under the name Katham.

Jim Rigg, Ph.D.

Catholic Schools of Cincinnati –

Jim Rigg, Ph.D. has served as the Director of Educational Services and Superintendent of Catholic Schools since July of 2010. During his time in this position, Rigg has worked to re-engage the Catholic Schools Office with the 113 Catholic schools. In 2010, he initiated a process to establish the first-ever Archdiocesan vision for Catholic schools.

In addition to working for the Archdiocese, Rigg also serves on the Executive Committee of the Chief Administrators of Catholic Schools (CACE), the Advisory Board of the Center for Catholic Education at Xavier University, the Board of Trustees for the Economics Center at the University of Cincinnati, the Executive Committee of the Strive Partnership for Urban Education, among others. He also teaches courses as an adjunct professor at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary in Cincinnati.

Rigg graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring history concentrating in international studies. He earned a masters in education from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN and a doctorate in educational administration from Capella University in Minneapolis. Rigg lives in the Eastgate area of Cincinnati with his wife and four children.

Andy Sathe

MCF Advisors –

Andy Sathe works as a financial strategist at MCF Advisors – a private wealth management firm headquartered in Covington, KY.
His career in the financial services industry spans audit, business start-up, corporate finance, real-estate development and mergers and acquisitions.

Andy’s present and past board service includes Vice President of the Board of Trustees at The Hyde Park Center for Older Adults, Board of Trustees at Working in Neighborhoods (WIN), Board of Trustees for the Cincinnati Golfer’s for Charity, Board of Directors, Society of Financial Services Professionals, Committee Member: Association for Corporate Growth (ACG)

Andy graduated from St. Xavier High School and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA in Finance from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.

Jen Stein

Fourth Street Performance Partners

Jen Stein is an Amberley Village resident who moved to Cincinnati in 1995. She co-founded Asset Performance Partners (currently known as Fourth Street Performance Partners), a Cincinnati-based institutional investment consulting firm, where she advised foundations, endowments and other non-profit organizations regarding investment policy development, strategic asset allocation, investment manager selection and performance evaluation. In 2004, Jen sold her ownership in Asset Performance Partners.

Jen graduated from Duke University in 1988 with a BA degree in Public Policy Science. She worked as a fixed income trader at Bear, Stearns & Co. in New York from 1988-1991 and earned an MBA from Harvard University in 1993. Upon completion of business school, Jen returned to New York and spent two years at Bankers Trust Company as a consultant to senior management.

Jen and her husband, John, have three school-aged children. Jen serves on the Board of Trustees of The Seven Hills School and chairs the school’s Development Committee. She also serves on the Investment Committees of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and Isaac M. Wise Temple and is a Board member of Losantiville Country Club. Currently, Jen is developing a 2-day financial education program for children and adults at Isaac M. Wise Temple.

Woodrow Uible, CFA

Bartlett & Company

Woodrow H. Uible, CFA, is an Investment Advisor and a Product Manager of the Bartlett Equity strategies. Prior to joining Bartlett & Co., Woody was employed by a private investment fund and the investment division of a bank trust department. Woody is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Woody received his BA degree in Economics from the University of Cincinnati. He currently serves as a board member of Beech Acres Foundation, Walnut Hills High School Foundation and the University of Cincinnati Foundation. Woody is a past President of the CFA (Chartered Financial Analysts) Society of Cincinnati.

Woody has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager for the past four years. He joined Bartlett & Co. in 1980, and has 36 years of investment experience.
