
Applied Research: From Data to Insight
Since 2001, Jeff Rexhausen has served as the Associate Director of Research at the Economics Center. Jeff manages research projects related to economic development, economic impact, and policy issues, as well as projects associated with waste water and environmental economics. The Center’s research division, on average, completes over 20 projects per year for local and national government agencies, non-profits, and business organizations.
Jeff has spent nearly twenty years in the field of community and economic development analysis and planning, working with leaders from the public, private, and non-profit sectors to design and implement projects in response to diverse community issues.
What Jeff enjoys most about his work at the Center is helping clients be more effective in their work and make connections between applicable research and daily business practices.
Jeff earned his Master's Degree in Planning, and his Baccalaureate Degree in Urban Sciences at the University of Tennessee. He and his wife Theda have been married for 35 years and have four children and two grandchildren. Jeff and his family live in St. Bernard.
