UC Economics Center Encourages Alumni to Volunteer with Financial Literacy Programs

March 31, 2010

Ranked as the #1 Economics Center of its kind nationwide, the UC Economics Center for Education & Research provides financial education programs to students and teachers throughout the Greater Cincinnati community.

The Center welcomes alumni and professionals in the community to get involved with financial literacy programs such as "Why Money Matters," which features professionals from the community speaking to students in local classrooms about personal finance topics. Help students learn the importance of personal finance by sharing stories of your financial experiences or specific knowledge of financial concepts (e.g. budgeting).

For more information or to volunteer today, visit www.whymoneymatters.org or contact Jessica Stanley at (513) 556-2022 or email Jessica.Stanley@uc.edu.
