Participate in The Capitol Hill Challenge Stock Market Game, begins February 6th.
We would like to offer you the opportunity to participate in the 2012 SIFMA Foundation Capitol Hill Challenge (CHC). The CHC partners up to 10 of your Stock Market Game (SMG) high school teams with your local Member of Congress (MOC). This opportunity will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. It works like the SMG you are familiar with, but the students compete against teams sponsored by other Members of Congress around the country.
Teacher/Student Awards
Students from the top 3 winning teams (with the highest portfolio
value) and their teachers are rewarded with an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. for a tour of our nation’s capitol and a potential meeting with their sponsoring Member of Congress. All students receive certificates of recognition.
Rules and Registration
There is no cost to participate in the CHC. The dates for this exciting 14 week competition are February 6 to May 11, 2012. You can still participate in the state SMG competitions, you are not limited to one or the other.
