Course DescriptionAre you looking for fun ways to integrate content and pump some pizzazz into your math lessons? We will use novels like Lunch Money and The Toothpaste Millionaire to demonstrate activities that will engage students in math content while they enjoy an exciting story – not-to-mention the social studies content. All of the novels have economics and personal finance themes for integration of the content standards. Participants receive a copy of “Teaching Economics with Children’s Literature.” Grades 4-6. |
