Learn strategies to teach economic geography and world history, with a focus on the grade specific content through markets, global growth, trade, and roles of government. Students learn to analyze people’s behaviors and governmental decisions over time using the perspectives of economics.

The classroom activities are interactive and address the common core standards.

Participants receive a copy of the newly published "Focus: World History" teaching guide. 23 lessons from the neolithic age to the turn of the 19th century, with exampls from Asia, Africa, and Europe.

Morning refreshments, and lunch will be provided.

1 quarter houir of credit requires reviewing 5 lessons from the teaching guide.
2 hours of credit requires the lesson reviews, plus writing 1 new lesson.
3 hours of credi requires the lesson reviews, plus writing 2 new lessons.
The new lessons can be brief and/or can be adaptations of exisitng lessons.

Graduate credit tuition for this course is now just $99 per quarter hour.
