Course Description

Microeconomics for Teachers is an online professional development course for educators. The course is designed for elementary, middle and high school educators who teach specific microeconomics content or who teach about microeconomic topics and issues through history, government courses or other social studies, business, or financial education courses. The content of the course covers the fundamental concepts of economics, microeconomics content and the microeconomics-related content included in the Ohio Academic Content Standards for Social Studies for grades 3-12.

April is Financial Literacy Month and we are celebrating all of Spring Quarter. With a generous contribution from a special supporter of economic and financial education, the Economics Center is able to offer a special discounted tuition payment for graduate credit for all of our Spring Quarter professional development courses. This is a one-time opportuhnity for Spring Quarter, 2012 only.
