Course Description

GO GLOBAL with your classes.

Why is globalization so controversial? How do global issues affect the United States - good or bad? Discuss current migration, economic development and trade issues. Come learn and discuss how globalization lessons are critical in preparing students for the 21st century economy.

Additional Information:

Participants receive a free copy of the "Focus Globalization" teacher guide and access to the "Globalization 101" instructional materials. Both will be presented as resources available for teacher use.

A grant allows participants in this course to earn graduate credit for participation in the course for only $229/credit hour.

This program meets for only 3 hours.  Credit requires completion of a follow-up assignment - designing a lesson or formally reviewing 6 published classroom lessons.

Refreshments and classroom materials will be provided.
